Radical listening creates radical impact. Explore what a year of community-led work delivered for women and girls in the Yatta Plateau, and read our full impact report.
AkaMusyi was founded in October 2024 and started in the Yatta Plateau as our ground zero. We chose grassroots over grandeur: we show up, listen, and co-create solutions with the community. In 2025 our work prioritised the invisible, the girl who misses school because of menstruation, the woman who survives in silence after trauma, the youth with no digital access in a rapidly digitising world.
